Top 40 under 40
Intermountain Contractor has compiled a list of the Top 40 under 40 who are key individuals in the local A/E/C community. Included in this list are industry professionals who work as contractors, architects, engineers, and surveyors. Our very own Jason Densmer made the list for his work as an engineer.

The Coeur d'Alene Office is open
The Building at 611 E. Sherman was abuzz in early September as The Land Group, Inc. opened the doors of the firm's third Idaho office.
The Land Group provides land development consulting throughout the Intermountain West and Pacific Northwest. The firm is unique in its multidisciplinary approach to projects. Providing land planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, golf course engineering and graphic communications from a coordinated team yields tightly integrated results.
The Land Group's distinguished client list includes major corporations, municipalities, residential and commercial real estate developers, school districts, and more.
The Coeur d'Alene office joins Twin Falls to become the third location for this Idaho-owned company headquartered in Eagle, Idaho.
Principal Landscape Architect, Doug Russell notes "We have grown organically - in response to our client's needs - adding services and disciplines to assure our clients receive the best possible service."
In Coeur d'Alene, their commitment to the highest quality consulting service means bringing local design talent into the firm's "One Team" approach.
Stan Griswold adds to the firm's strength with his 20-plus years experience in the Coeur d'Alene region as a landscape architect and land planner.
Steve Davidson's 17 years as a landscape architect in North Idaho will also be invaluable to the group's clients.
"We are excited about the opportunity to serve North Idaho's developing community - creating projects that expand on the area's reputation for high quality design," says Jason Densmer, Principal Civil Engineer.

The Back Nine
In the Golf Idaho insert from the September 2008 edition of the Pacific Northwest Golfer magazine, Bob Lantz, the PGA Head Professional of the Rupert Country Club, was interviewed. When asked about some of the biggest changes he has seen at his course he answered:
"The biggest change at Rupert CC is the addition of the new back nine. This has increased the membership by 200 and the activity at the course has increased dramatically because of this wonderful improvement to the club and our community. The nine was added in 1994 and it is now showing signs of maturity with the growth of the trees. This, along with other factors, has helped increase the number of families participating in the game of golf and in our junior program. We also see more "couples" golf than ever before."
We are excited to see the back nine of the Rupert CC get such a good review since our very own David Koga was the one that designed the addition! If you want to know more about the services The Land Group provided for the Rupert CC click on the cutsheet below:
